The Story of Dermisyou

How It All Began

Dermisyou was established in 2018 in Los Angeles by our founder, Sharareh, a mother of three young adults.

Naturally, they each had their own skin issues, ranging from super oily, to super dry, acne-prone skin and sensitive skin. Throughout the years, they tried various products, from expensive and well-known brands to the less expensive and drugstore ones. Unfortunately, none seemed to work long-term, and they were back to square one. Needless to say, their struggles went beyond just appearance to affecting their confidence and daily social life at such a sensitive age.

Great Things Come out of Necessity

Sharareh, an American with Middle Eastern roots, grew up in the best of both worlds… the old-world wisdom and remedies of the East that have been passed along by generations and the science, innovation, and modernism of the West.

She took her concerns and ideas about natural, clean, and effective skin care products to their laboratory in Los Angeles, and together they created Dermisyou with the premise of giving people the power to take back control of their skin and embrace their natural beauty and confidence. Today, Dermisyou has expanded its skincare products collection to include body care and fragrance oils that leave the skin velvety soft, with delicious scents that linger for hours, and unsurpassed quality skincare.

So we did away with all the fancy original packaging and glamor and returned to the beauty product basics: natural, clean, and effective at affordable prices. We use the best ingredients nature has to offer, such as one of the world’s most precious flowers, saffron, as well as rosemary, sage, and various other vitamins, oils, and herbs, with each of them having a role in strengthening, hydrating, and protecting your skin.

Our products are meant to prevent aging skin, maintain a healthy complexion, and restore damaged or wrinkled skin. As such, we never use any harsh acids, sulfates, or chemicals that dry and damage the skin. Our ingredients are vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made in the USA.
